I haven’t done any reading challenges because I tend to want to read what I want and feel it would restrict that. I live where there are functioning public libraries and I plan to continue to use them. Sorry about your loss and I pray God comforts you and all her loved ones.

I understand your reason but, what if reading challenges broaden your reading choices? I find these ones help me break out from my usual genres and they are great in discovering new authors and stories. Perhaps give one of these a trial, you might enjoy it. Thank you, Motunrayo for your kind words. I also cannot wait to experience the happiness and comfort of using public libraries!

I guess it would broaden what I read and I would try one book from one of the challenges this year. I have a 2 year old so when I have the down time to read, I try to read only what I think I would like. This year, I'll try and experiment a little bit and maybe I'll discover something new.
